PALMDALE (CBSLA.com) — Video at the scene is showing the wild ending to a police chase late Tuesday night.
Deputies were chasing a man suspected of carjacking a yellow Dodge Charger when he opened fire, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies reportedly did not fire back.
The suspect crashed the Charger and tried to make a getaway but deputies were quick to pin the vehicle with their patrol cars.
The man surrendered at the intersection of Palmdale Boulevard and 20th Street East.
No one was hurt.
